i need new tires soon and wanted to get wider ones in the rear i have p245 60r15 on now wanted to go 295 can i do that without getting wider rims?????
i do NOT have factory rims on the car. i want to stay 225 in front . . . .. .just rear want 295 or at least 275
On your duster if you’ve got stock wheels, you’ve probably got a 7" wheel.
Backspacing would be correct, but the 295s will probably rub.
You might want to see whether a 265/50 will fit.
Look at the brand tire you have, determine its height. (Can usually look it up on the tire sales websites). Then look for some 265′s or 275′s that are about the same height. Can usually find that information online also. Different brands can differ as much as an inch or two at the same size.
